Description
Here is a beautiful, traditional Bulgarian Troyan pottery pitcher dating back to the mid-20th century. Handcrafted from the region's signature red terracotta clay, this piece features the unique folk art slipware patterns for which Troyan is renowned. The distinctive, flowing teardrop design on the bulbous body and flared rim was created using a traditional drip-glazing technique, where artisans draw coloured slips downward while the clay is still wet. Historically used to serve and store chilled table beverages, the high-quality natural earthenware acts as an excellent insulator. Today, this striking piece makes a perfect modern kitchen accent or a unique vanity organiser.

The dimensions are as follows: H: 12cm - W: 11.5cm - L: 8cm
