Mid 19th Century Large Copper Indian Lota Pot

This stunning piece originated in India during the 1840s. It is known as a lota pot and was used to hold holy water during Indian religious ceremonies. What makes this one stand out is its size, as most are not as large as this piece. This pot is made from copper and is tin lined. It also showcases beautiful carved detailing and patterns around the top.

Nowadays, this pot would easily be a statement piece in any contemporary home!
