This beautiful pot originated in the Neolithic era (10,000 BC - 2000 BC), and belonged to the Yangshao culture, which was located along the yellow river in China. The Yangshao culture were known for their painted pottery and created ceramics, like this one, with painted patterns on. This specific pot has a lovely diamond shaped pattern surrounding it and 2 small handles. This was made using hand-coiled clay and has an unglazed finish.
The dimensions of this are as follows: H - 9cm, W - 14cm, D - 14cm.
