These quaint trinkets are known as Buddha beads and originated in Thailand during the mid 20th century. Beads like these are handmade and each vary in size and design. Most of our beads showcase a hand-carved seated Buddha. Originally, they were worn as lucky charms or talismans for protection. People often wore them on a necklace or attached to a bag.
All are different but most dimensions are as follows: H - 2cm, W - 1cm, D - 1cm.
