Mid 20th Century Japanese Ceramic Sake Bottle (9)

This stunning piece is known as a Sake bottle and it originated in Japan. This ceramic bottle would've held sake, a Japanese alcohol made from fermented rice, and could be bought at most stores. This piece showcases hand-painted black inscriptions and a piece of string around the neck which would've once held a bottle top. One text translates to 'Tian Lixiang', we believe this is probably the business name or owners name. 

The dimensions are as follows: H - 35cm, W - 12cm D - 12cm.
