This stunning piece is known as a Sake bottle and it originated in Japan. This ceramic bottle would've held sake, a Japanese alcohol made from fermented rice, and could be bought at most stores. This piece showcases hand-painted black inscriptions and pieces of string which would've held the bottle top. One text translates to 'Miyata', which we assume is the owners/company name.
The dimensions are as follows: H - 27cm, W - 10.5cm D - 10.5cm.
