This wooden red lacquered Chinese wash bowl is a great piece, traditionally used for washing clothes and crockery.
Its in fine condition (although probably not watertight now), with the original brass bandings and the red lacquer still vibrant. Its very sturdy due to its 5 criss-cross horse hoof legs.
Nowadays it would look great with a glass sheet over it to make a coffee table with a collection of artifacts on the inside. To make the worlds most unique display cabinet. Or if you plant this item up with house it looks fantastic with the contrasting colours.
