This beautifully vibrant flag originated in Japan and would have been found on a fishing boat. The main text translates to 'Shin Maruei' which we believe is the name of the boat. Also, the other text translates to 'Xiong Yakinikuhama', which we believe is the name of the owner of the boat. This specific flag has a simplistic design using black and red.
