This stunning black lacquered stool originated in China within the Qing dynasty. Whilst being created in a Ming style, it also has hand-carved reeded edging and horse hoof feet. These factors truly make this stool stand out. It is made from elm and has its original black lacquer which has started to crack but this only adds to the charm and uniqueness of this piece.
