This Chinese wash bowl originated in the 1890s and has been beautifully hand made. It is made with individual segments of elm that connected together using two retaining rings. This piece is very unique as it is much bigger than usual and is high quality as it is very solid.
It would have been used to wash clothes, crockery, and sometimes food if needed Nowadays, it would make a stunning pot to grow plants in or a lovely, oriental storage space.
The approximate dimensions of this bowl are as follows: H - 19cm , W - 69cm.
