Showa Period Traditional Japanese Domestic Basket (3)

This simple basket originated in Japan within the 1950s-60s. It was handwoven from bamboo and showcases a beautifully intricate design. It originally would have been used to store domestic items within the home. Nowadays, it can be used for the same purpose, or as an interesting piece of wall decor!

The dimensions are as follows: H - 18cm, W - 42cm, D - 42cm.
