Stunning late 18th Century wooden bowl from the Yunnan area in Southwest China. This wooden bowl is a slightly smaller version; a shallow bowl, hand carved from one piece of wood. It is in incredible condition, you can see the old cut marks, it carries so much history in it.
They were traditionally used as food preparation bowls, as well as to serve food in. Nowadays they would be a welcome piece in any home, as wall decoration or fruit bowl etc.
