This sign has very loose translations but we believe it is medicinal shop sign, that sold cures for "malaria and all kinds of diseases". It is made from enamel and due to the age of it, some of it has started to wear down. However, despite the age of it the main image can still be clearly seen. The image of the woman fighting a serpent could potentially be the brand image of this shop.
It would have been used for advertising in the early 20th century, but nowadays it can be a decorative item in your home.
