Description
This stunning noren curtain originated in Japan within the Taisho period. It has been dyed a beautiful indigo colour and have a Katazome stencil-dyed, wave chidori pattern throughout. Originally, it would have been used for the entrance to a building to add privacy but also allow air flow. This specific curtain has a Japanese family crest known as Kamon. These crests are deeply personal symbols, representing the lineage and heritage of a family. Nowadays however, it could be used as a lovely piece of art decor which would add a sense of authenticity and style to any modern home.

The dimensions are as follows: H - 161cm, W - 131cm.
