This beautiful Indian window originated in Rajasthan, within the early 19th century. The wood has been hand-painted a lovely red colour which, due to the age, has started to wear away, giving it a rustic feel. The handmade metal lattice in the centre gave the perfect duality of security and relaxation, as it allowed air flow throughout the home, whilst being quite impenetrable.
Nowadays, this window can be used as a piece of décor for your home.
