Early 20th century Chinese wash bowl with the original brass insert. A beautiful thing! Originally used as basin to wash your face etc. Lacquered with oxblood red, wood cut sections held together by brass bands, simple yet effective design!
This particular wash bowl is missing its bottom brass band. Its age and history is present in its wonderfully rustic appearance, really being able to see the wood grain at the top of the bow. The brass bowl is timeless!
We think they would make the most amazing modern day sink. or even a planter.
The dimensions of this bowl are as follows - L - 54.5cm, W - 43cm, H - 17cm.
