Small Qing Dynasty wooden stool made from elm and bamboo, its a great example of Qing, with the elegant straight lines.
This particular stool has some wear and tear that only adds to its antiquity. You can see repair jobs on the side of the seat and also a few bamboo replacements but this doesn't effect its extremely sturdy design. Its got beautiful lattice work on all four sides under the seat, it really is a beautiful, traditional piece.
Quite possibly used as a stool for a street vendor, in the modern day it will add elegance to any room!
