Traditional Chinese wrapping cloth from the first half of the 20th Century.
Comprised from two panels, block printed on handwoven fabric (100% cotton). Phoenix and peonies are printed in the centre, the combination of these two symbolize prosperity and happiness. The surrounding images depict butterflies, flowers, and bats.
Considering its age it is in good condition with its own unique charms.
Traditionally used to wrap items and presents. Today it would look fab as a wall hanging.
