This mid-19th century Chinese Elm School Desk is a charming and unique piece of furniture that exudes character and history. Though it has suffered some damage over the years, it remains a stunning example of traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
The desk was originally crafted to standard desk height, but has been cut down to its current size, making it the perfect size for a side table or TV stand. Despite its altered dimensions, the desk retains its original red paint, giving it an authentic antique feel.
The wood of the desk is a warm, rich shade of brown, with the original red paint visible in areas where it has chipped or worn away. The desk features a single, spacious drawer with a simple wooden pull, perfect for storing small items or office supplies.
A unique and practical feature of this desk is the added shelf below the main surface, which provides additional storage or display space for books, decorative items, or electronics.

The majority of our items will be sent either MyHermes, UK Mail or Royal Mail (2-4 day delivery depending on location). If your item is larger it will be sent on a pallet on a next working day delivery after dispatch service.
