A beautiful stool from the late Qing dynasty, around 130 years old and made from elm. It has 4 fluted legs and double stretchers at either end. Its simple and sturdy, with old remnants of lacquer and great patination of the elm on the seat. It has got evidence of historic woodworm in one of the legs, but it has been treated but price reflects.
Such stool would've been used by street vendors, nowadays its the perfect side table.
The dimensions of this stool are as follows- H - 35cm, L - 48cm, W - 25cm at base, 13.5cm on seat.
