Description

This Burmese puppet head dates back to the 19th century where it would have been used in puppet shows throughout Myanmar. Originally they were used for entertainment for the Burmese monarchy, but as time went on they became a means of educating people in history, culture and religion.  Now, it can add a rustic feel to your home.

This specific puppet head has been beautifully well carved and it still has its original paint work. As it no longer has a body, it is held on a metal stand. It has unique glass eyes and has a string attached which opens and closes its mouth.

The dimensions are as follows- H - 6cm, W - 4.5cm, D - 13cm.
