Here we have a vintage original, framed lithograph print of Swami Vivekanand, dating back to the late 1940's. This lithograph print depicts the renowned Hindu monk and philosopher Swami Vivekananda, featured in a traditional red robe and turban. Swami is internationally credited with introducing Advaita Vedanta (a philosophy from India that emphasizes non-duality, meaning there is no real separation between you, the world, and God) and the traditional practise of Yoga. The portrait is a colour lithograph print, a lithograph is a type of print made by drawing an image on a flat stone or metal plate with greasy materials, the transferring it to paper sing natural repulsion of oil and water. This beautiful portrait has been fitted with a black frame with gold detailing, adding a modern touch to a vintage piece.
