Beautiful, vintage teak display cabinet from the 1920's. We believe it has come from the Gujarat region of North West India. It holds all of its original components and has not had anything new added to it like most Indian cabinets do.
The flecks of acid green and forest green against the original teak is so complimentary of one another. It has 3 solid shelves and is a very sturdy piece. The chipped paint give it so much age and character.
It will have been used as a display cabinet, it can have similar purpose today, we think it would look particularly good in a kitchen to house crockery.
