These gorgeous Chinese boxes are made from a mixture of bamboo and Chinese elm. They originated in the early 20th century and would have been used to store small valuables.
The smaller box:
This box has a reeded texture all around using the bamboo and Chinese elm, making it a unique storage space.
The measurements are as follows: W - 25cm x H - 13cm x D - 19.5cm
The larger box:
The craftsmanship is showcased through the reeded texture and the intricate carvings on the front of the box. There are multiple stunning designs shown in the carvings making this box an original piece.
