Description

Here we have a striking, traditional Japanese Daruma doll, dating back to the late 20th century to early 21st century. This doll is a talisman of good luck and perseverance, often used to set goals. This paper-mache doll features a predominately red design, representing endurance and success, modelled after the founder of Zen Buddhism. Traditionally, one eye is painted when a goal is set and the second eye is painted once the goal is complete. This specific doll has both eyes painted however although it cant be used for its original purpose it would make a stunning centre piece that radiates good luck. 

The dimensions are as follows: H: 24cm - W: 23cm - L: 23cm
