This beautifully vibrant flag originated in Japan and would have been found on a fishing boat. The text translates to 'Big Catch', and this was used to convey the celebration of a big catch. Nowadays however, they are used for more auspicious times such as unveiling of a new vessel or the first fishing trip. This specific flag has a lovely array of bold colours including red, green and blue.
