Indian Bajot tables are usually made out of teak wood, square, low and sturdy. They were, and still are, used as floor dining tables, serving tables and to house spiritual offerings. The age of these tables are Early 20th Century, they have aged with the most perfect imperfections, brilliant patina.
This particular Bajot table has a lot of the original red paintwork, particularly the legs and apron. It shows wear and tear in a beautiful way, still very sturdy.
In the Western modern home they will make a great side table, or a plant table.
