This stunning window screen originated in Japan in the early 1920s. It was carefully handmade out of reeds and has a lovely wooden frame. It would've been used to give privacy, whilst also keeping sunlight out of the average Japanese home. Nowadays however, it can be used as a piece of wall decor; adding a rustic feel to your home.
