Early 20th Century Indian Wooden Okhli (2)

This interesting piece originated in India in the early 20th century. It was hand-carved from a block of wood and would have been used as a mortar to crush grain and spices. Nowadays however, it can be used as a unique storage space or as a planter.

The dimensions of this are as follows: H - 42cm, W - 44cm, D - 44cm.
