This beautiful elm console table is just stunning, most likely from the Shanxi area, it is a fine example of a 19th Century console table.
The metal work comprises of the original brass backplate and forged steel ring. You can feel the age on the handles! The top of the table has been clear lacquered which gives it a satin finish, stylish but also really helps to protect the wood.
Would look great in a hallway or even in a kitchen. or behind sofa with lamps on.
The dimensions of this table are as follows- H - 81cm, D - 52 cm, L - 137.4cm.
