Traditionally known as a 'Khisni', this grater originated in Rajasthan, and was handmade from pure brass. Its interesting design showcases a tortoise shape, making it a rather unusual but stunning piece of decor. It was primarily used for grating and shredding coconuts, but then was also used for vegetables and cheese.
Nowadays, this grater would make a beautiful addition to any contemporary kitchen.
