The Illuminated Table Mirror made by Brot Mirophar of France is a timeless piece of history, first created in 1927. These mirrors feature a nickel-plated frame and illuminated opaline glass, designed to provide a soft and fog-free reflection for meticulous grooming. The concept of an illuminated magnifying mirror with opaline glass was a true innovation of the Brot company and was originally intended for use in automobiles. However, it found its success in luxury hotels, where discerning guests appreciated its unique design. The historic company was established in 1826 by François Brot, mirror maker to King Charles X, and has a rich legacy in the world of mirrors. The two mirrors currently available, one made in England and the other made in France, have been fully rewired with 200cm of grey twisted flex and a new plug, ready for use. Despite their age, these mirrors still offer a touch of vintage charm and can be used to add a sense of timeless elegance to your home. These mirrors may not be perfect, but they are a beautiful reminder of a bygone era and a symbol of the craftsmanship and quality that once defined this historic company.
The one with the Black back is made in England the other is made in France.
