Here we have the most perfect example of a 19th Century Chizhou pottery pilgrim flask originating from Northern China, specifically the Hebei Province. It has a delicate figure hand painted on either side along with dainty light pink flora. Also, it contains 4 handle loops, and a unique wavy pattern on the edge, emphasising the originality of this piece. This flat-sided vessel would have been used as a water canteen by travellers.
However, nowadays it would make a lovely vase and give an oriental feel to your home!
