Locally based blacksmith, Sam, has handcrafted this stunning garden bench, called 'The Duncombe'. After finding inspiration from beautiful historic ironwork in the grounds of Duncombe Park, the visual concept for 'The Duncombe', as a modern classic was born. The skill of the blacksmith is evident in the quality of this bench, galvanised to protect the bench from rust and the unpredictable British weather, for 30 years, however, it's likely that the bench will be still standing for many many years beyond that. The bench has also undergone a process called, 'etching', creating the beautiful frosted colours and tones you can see on the bench. No welding has been done to this bench, the slats have been attached using rivets, to create a beautifully crafted piece. The dimensions of the bench are as follows - H- 76cm x W- 186cm(6ft) x D- 45cm.
